Research: Educational evolutions and children’s sensory learning influenced by new media practices and DIY culture. A Co-PI on the SSHRC project Voices from Digital Natives: Informal Learning and Sociable Media in Child and Youth Cultures, Alexandra is also a researcher at the EDGE lab, and an associate researcher at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, Paris Nord.

Creative practice: Digital abstract imagery.

Authorship: Collaborated on a research paper entitled Melange of Making: Bringing Children’s Informal Learning Cultures to the Classroom (2014), with Dr. Jason Nolan and Yukari Seko, published by The MIT Press.
